Ultimate Disney World Summer 2024 Adventure | Day 4 at Disney's Animal Kingdom!

Day 4 of our family Disney World vacation brought us to Disney's Animal Kingdom. We started off our day with the Wild Africa Trek Tour at 10:15am. You can find that video here.

After our tour, we continued our day in the park. This was the 2nd day of the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and honestly, I do NOT recommend it for this park. We had 3 pre-booked selections and were unable to make any changes. My son decided that he didn't want to go on Navi River Journey and I was unable to get anything in its place, so we only used 2 Lightning Lanes that day.

I also do not recommend going to the park after a tour like Wild Africa Trek. It is quite a physical tour and I was exhausted, in fact, we all were. I decided not to ride Kali River Rapids, because I didn't feel I could physically wait in the line.

We did get to enjoy some free Mickey Ice Cream Bars courtesy of Disney Vacation Club. Our day lined up with one of the special Welcome Home Weeks events and we all really enjoyed the ice cream. The only downside was there was no seating in the area.

We didn't spend too much time in the park that day, but we still did what we (meaning Rider) wanted to do. We also got to ride Dinosaur for possibly the last time. And we made it!
