Embarkation Day on RCCL's FREEDOM OF THE SEAS: Our Spring Break 2025 Adventure!

Join us as we embark on Royal Caribbean's FREEDOM OF THE SEAS out of Port Everglades (Ft. Lauderdale) for our 2025 Spring Break cruise. This was a 6-night Caribbean Cruise that left on Sunday, March 23, 2025 and our ports of call were, Nassau, Bahamas, Falmouth (Ocho Rios), Jamaica and Labadee, Haiti.

This was the first time in 3 years that we left out of Port Everglades. Compared to the Port of Miami, this port is so much easier to get in and out of. Parking is also a breeze. Parking for 6 nights was $120. There is an off-site parking (https://www.bookparkngo.com/) available at a cheaper rate, but the convenience of the on-site parking is worth it for us. Walking to and from our car was less than 5 minutes to the terminal.

We were in a Spacious Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom, 1100, Category 1L

While there are other 1Ls on deck 12 and on Liberty & Independence, Freedom is the only one that has THIS layout. 1150 has a mirrored layout. I would book this cabin everytime if I could. We have stayed in a Grand Suite & Ultra Spacious on Freedom of the Seas and we preferred this stateroom above all others. Location was perfect, very quiet and having 2 tv with a child was really nice. The walk-in closet was also AMAZING! We didn't miss a balcony and loved having the panoramic window much more than a small balcony.
